blocking calls on a cell phone?

Ok, I have a psycho ex-gf that won't stop calling me for months now. I need to somehow block her from reaching my cell phone but Sprint PCS told me there is no way to do this through them. A friend of mine said he remebered hearing about or seeing a website that would block a specific number from reaching you for free. Anyone heard of such a thing or have any other advice?? I don't want to deal with this crazy b!tc% anymore!! http://www.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/splat.gif

just tell her the next time she rings that you will go to the cops for a restraining order that should work

unfortunately i need ideas a bit more clever. i don't want to involve police and i want to avoid changing my cell phone number cause then no one could reach me.

My Sony Ericson T 616 allows me to build caller lists. I can choose to accept any and all calls, block specific numbers that are on a list or ONLY accept calls from numbers that are on a list.

Good Luck,
Scott

Can't you specify a ringtone for her and just ignore it everytime she calls. Or you can change your cell and regive out your number but I have had my cell for over 7 years and I certaintly would not want to give up my number now that it is mine.

JFW,

How 'bout some aftermarket software like this?

For the price, it looks as though it just might be worth it! :)

I did that with a few #'s except it was set to full silent - that works great.

Question: do you answer the phone when she calls? All cell phones have caller id these days, so you would know if she's calling.

You do know that you don't have to answer the phone just because it is ringing...

Store her number under the name DO NOT ANSWER. THis worked for me.

as far as the calls, no i don't answer at all, but she calls all the time and even seeing the missed calls is so annoying and makes me pissed off still....i just want to not see anything......hopefully this will do the trick....

if all else fails, new number.....thanks guys...
