I've been told that Cox is pretty fast in Phoenix:
6868.7 Kbps |

gotta love cable modems :D |
Yahoo DSL 1134.9 kbps. :(
|
4245.6 Kbps - You 4245.6 kbps
|
1674.2 kbps in Snohomish, WA. Fast enough I don't loose wood between pic's.

A test like this really needs a larger file to be reasonably accurate. If the file is too short, you get some pretty wacky numbers.
|
3147.5
|
3063.1 Kbps - You 3063.1 kbps
|
17662.3 Kbps - You 17662.3 kbps
|
1537.7 :)

When we bought this house, the developer bragged about how BellSouth had built a fiber backbone so we could get super highspeed DSL, like what Verizon is now rolling out in the NE. Well the idiots put in a conventional DSLAM so there was no DSL. Cable company -Adelphia- blocks server ports so we are forced to a 384Kb fractional T-1@ $350 per month.
Can't wait for the TWC purchase of Adelphia to complete. |
Dont believe that test - its way wrong.
|
3484.2 Kbps - You 3484.2 kbps
This is in Moraga, CA using Comcast w/ Linksys Wireless connection. |
WTF?
I just got a reading of: 52307.7 Kbps - You 52307.7 kbps
Wtf? |
171.19 KBps at the office, whats up with that!
4281.2 kbps at home. |
