A test like this really needs a larger file to be reasonably accurate. If the file is too short, you get some pretty wacky numbers.

When we bought this house, the developer bragged about how BellSouth had built a fiber backbone so we could get super highspeed DSL, like what Verizon is now rolling out in the NE. Well the idiots put in a conventional DSLAM so there was no DSL. Cable company -Adelphia- blocks server ports so we are forced to a 384Kb fractional T-1@ $350 per month.

Can't wait for the TWC purchase of Adelphia to complete.

171.19 KBps at the office, whats up with that!
