God bless America

Why don't you E-mail him and ask him directly? I am sure he and other Marines would love to hear from you.

Email, hell. They ought to pay him a personal visit.....express their appreciation for his willingness to die so they can make fun of him face to face.

I wasn't making fun of the man, simply pointing out where to find real heroism.

Icemaster 05-03-2005 05:59 PM

Maybe I'm missing your point.........?

Randy - thanks for that. Another reason why I don't read the papers.

As far as the liberal assmonkeys, not a bag amungst them. My 6 and 2 yr old have more gumption than those fancy pants. Gotta wonder how some of them can legitamittly mount their woman minus their sack...

How do you mount 'em w/o a brain, Sparky? :D

I just skip the legitamittly part and saddle up and ride.

I've read just about everything W.E.B. Griffin and Harold Coyle have written. Sometimes, one wonders how accurate an author can be in his portrayal of the actions of fighting men in the 'heat of battle'.
The account of this gentleman's (who, incidently is about the age of my son), deeds in the face of such odds points out that there are men (and women) who, faced with such a situation, draw upon their training and the depths of strength within them to do what needs to be done.
I don't have the stones to do what he did.
