The creator of this site must be 14 or 15 yo. He criticizes the heck out of the two street version cars and brags about how authentic his little model car is.... :rolleyes:

Okay, not to hijack, but given what I know about animation, "Speed Racer" is known in the industry as the most difficult cartoon to dub American voices with. Seems as if the Japanese writers wrote the English dialogue/translation, but were horrible brevity editors. This is why each character's dialogue line was so long. Supposedly, if you wanted to work on "SR," you needed lungs like a marathoner.

And if you wanted to work on Trixie, you needed some of Pops power tools... :D

With lines such as "Here is the secret film, filmed secretely"
"These are the spies of spying inc."
And "Your scheme is up Ali Ben Schemer"

I am not surprised it was difficult to dub.:)
