Black Bars over faces - Military Coffins

I was watching CNN yesterday morning, they covered the released photos of American Military Coffins. The black bars over the heads and faces were so over-done that the drama, meaning and somberness of the photos was compromised.

Did you see them yet?

I know it's not true, but at first glance it looks like our troops are ashamed to show their faces. I can't shake this imagery, the black bars are far to additive.

Kach, I know you're baiting today, but I agree with you...it's rediculous. It's more like a slap in the face by those that didn't want them released. "here's your damn photos, enjoy"

A shame that the people that gave their life serving should get cuaght up in this travesty.

It's basically the Pentagon complying w/ a legal order, but making the photos unusable under the guise of privacy. Everyone knows what it is, and your view of it depends on your political POV, specifically how one feels about the Iraq war.

Yep. Tastes just like sour grapes. These guys really know how to run a gubmint, don't they? Besides starting a war, Dubya's like 0-for-8 in all his other attempts. SS, his coup de gras, is not going well. I expect he'll become more frantic and reckless over the next couple of years.
