1994 R1100RSA raffle
I noticed this bike was being raffled by The Wellness Community, a charitable cancer support organization. The tickets are $10 each, with a limit of 1200 to be sold. In reading the flyer, I noticed the original owner was a highschool classmate of mine, Laurie Robertson. She passed away in 1997 from a brain tumor, and her father had a hard time parting with the bike for emotional reasons. He continued riding it and servicing it where his daughter bought it, at Diablo BMW in Walnut Creek. Details of the bike are on The Wellness Community website, and it does have ABS.
