Holy cow!

BlueSkyJaunte 05-12-2005 02:10 PM

That must've been some hot rod!

What's an original '69 z-28 go for these days?

Amac 05-12-2005 02:17 PM

Original cars go from $40k to $65K.
Here's a pic.

Wow, I missed some serious opportunties about 10 years ago. :(

Looks like you have some disposable income, so I'd guess you're not concerned about this but....those things get really interesting gas mileage.

FrayAdjacent911 05-12-2005 02:33 PM

Jeebus! TWO engines? Man, that's twice the trouble!

If it flies, floats or f**ks, rent it!

kidding aside, that's a nice hole in the water! How fast will it go?

Amac 05-12-2005 02:57 PM

Superman - I know, 26 gallons per hr. at 55.
Matt J. - My dad said the same thing!!!
Fray - about 65, in light wind.

MysticLlama 05-12-2005 03:13 PM

Wow, that's a lot of gas.

I think my summer plans will involve tossing the waterskiers out of the back of a small plane, it'll be cheaper. Hope they don't mind going about 120. :D

Amac,

I am disapointed, those engines appear to be Naturally Aspirated....you can do better than that!

2 mpg at $3.75+ a gallon. Damn my friend I think I will stick with my sailboat.

Enjoy it and don't let it cut too far into the P-Car gas fund

campbellcj 05-12-2005 09:28 PM

I always loved both versions of the early Z28...boats are fun too, but I'd prefer to have fun on somebody else's. :D

kmhemi 05-13-2005 04:13 AM

anybody know what a matching numbers 68 Z is going for these days????

kmhemi 05-13-2005 04:14 AM

Awesome boat by the way.......

kycarguy 935 05-13-2005 10:10 AM

Nice boat and nice Camaro.

I believe thats the original color of my 69 Camaro SS-396. Somebody painted it Cortez Silver. and its suppose to be Le Mans Blue.
