Contender Finale........

My money is on Sergio...he will out box the more powerful but less savvy Peter Manfredo....

Gonna be a good fight nonetheless........

If it goes the whole way Sergio will win, but if there is a knock out it will definetly come from Peter. Sergio has some great hand speed but not much power.

Sportsbook.com has posted odds on the Trinidad - Wright fight, as well as early odds on who will emerge victorious on The Contender. No other online gambling sight has offered odds on the show.

The Contender Odds:

West Representative: -220

East Representative: +180

To explain boxing gambling, I reference a classic Muhammad Ali-Joe Frazier fight. The odds were made up, nothing accurate.

Muhammad Ali to win -152

Joe Frazier to win +110

Draw +1700

Over/Under on rounds, 10 1/2 rounds

Pick each fighter individually to win by knockout:

Ali by KO or stoppage +240

Frazier by KO or stoppage +270

If you wager on Ali to win, he would have to win by any means, and you would have to bet $152 to win $100.

If you are wager on Frazier to win, Frazier would have to win by any means, and you would win $110 for every $100 you wagered.

I pick Sergio.....unless he gives up his height advantage. As a boxer, he hunches over to about the same height of his opponent. He is also lazy with the return of his jab. Instead of pulling it straight back, he drops it. Peter could come over it with a straight right cross.

Either way, it will be a great fight.

Yeah...I thought Sergio's big test would be Jessie....

Jessie did lead him into some vulnerable positions and if Sergio didn't learn from that fight Peter could land a big one.....
