They sure must've pissed SOMEONE off...

http://www.eastvalleytribune.com/index.php?sty=42043

This is just hysterical...I have a neighbor who used to work in the finance department at this place. She quit about three years ago after management asked her to cook the books!

Anyway, I pass this office every day on the way to work, and damned if their "water feature" doesn't smell like raw sewage...you know it's bad when you can smell it over the dairy farm across the street!

Feds close Orbital Sciences plant in Chandler
May 26, 2005
By Dennis Welch and Ed Taylor
Tribune
Federal authorities shut down the plant of a major defense contractor Thursday morning in south Chandler, telling workers to go home as agents scoured the facility.
It was not known which federal agency served the warrant, but Chandler police were notified of the raid about 7 a.m., said detective Livi Kacic. The Orbital Sciences Corp. Launch Systems Group at 3380 S. Price Road focuses on launch vehicles used by the U.S. military, NASA and commercial customers.

The Chandler group has been involved in developing the national missile defense system, a high priority of the Bush administration to protect the nation from ballistic missile attacks.

The company employs more than 1,000 engineers, scientists and administrative personnel at the Chandler site.

Hmm, they must have missed a payoff to an important political benefactor.

SOP around here. Chandler Blvd. has been paved twice since I moved here in '98...and the paving co. was owned by the mayor's brother...

Garage
Wow. I worked with these guys up until last year when I changed programs. In fact, we integrate their "product" into our assembly here at my facility.

Hmmm....interesting.
