Ban Kitchen knives to reduce knife crime in the UK
Don't you love it when experts in one field demonstrate there stupidity and ignorance by spouting off in another field?

May common sense rest in peace.

just ban thumbs. It'd be damn hard to stab someone if you have no thumbs.

"We need to ban the sale of long pointed kitchen knives"
How about banning Yob culture? Before the Euro-nannys are done they will all be eating with spoons! |

Banning the sale of long pointed knives?
Hell, I could make a serviceable fighting knife in my garage with my MAPP torch, a slab of steel, and my grinder. Actually, that's not a bad idea....

You could strangle someone. Time to cut off everyone's hands. Where will this end? Hope we can learn from their errors...

Fortunately it's the BMJ, not exactly the Times. Just an example of professionals and experts who are extremely stupid and ignorant outside their field.
This gives the ACPO reply: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/health/4581871.stm

They don't seem to realize the problem is with a HUMAN BEHAVIOR, not a device or object.
Watching stuff like that out of England is pretty funny... but there are those here who want the US to go down the same slippery slope.

I get worried when my Nanna starts on one line too many or takes some cheap crack... You just never know what she's going to do with those pointy knitting needles!

Which brings up another question...a favored carry gun? Even a Glock gets heavy & too bulky at times.

Prada is very fashionable Joking aside, I've never understood where guys stow all the junk, like keys, cigarettes, lighter, wallet etc. My husband used to place lighter in cigarette packet and tuck that into his sock when wearing summer clothes, keys clipped to belt and pistol iwb, but the rest of the stuff?

The Kel-Tec P-3AT is very light (7.2 oz.), small and simple. 6+1 rounds of .380. Me likes.
