That does suck, as I do have sat in 3 different rooms. Not only do they charge that $5 extra per receiver, but they also charge extra for programming in different rooms. Plus the extra $4 a month for local channels....

I guess I'm just used to that, and enjoy the quality enough to not want to go with Cox. The only things I get from Cox are my phone line and internet.

Are you shopping all the offers? My phone bill has steadily gone down over the past six or seven years. In addition to that, with unlimited long distance, our usage has gone up!
