Insurance help
Here is the deal:
Car (not the p car) is rear ended about 4 mo. ago. We get estimates and guy sends us check for estimated amount as he does not want to make a claim on his insurance. About $1300 to repaint bumper skin and replace a couple of bent brackets. I figure I can take bumper off myself and bend/ replace a few brackets to bring it back to normal. Well I have been busy so I haven't got around to it yet. Well it got rear ended again last weekend. I contacted their insurance co. and will be getting in contact with their adjuster. How do I explain this to them without having them dismiss this accident. I don't know if this last hit did anymore damage or not. Don't want to be dishonest but want to cover my bases. Opinions? Thanks |

Just explain what happened as you did here.
If you aren't 100% sure that there's no more damage bring it back to where you got the original estimate....or do they know you're not using them....?
