I alwways did want to live down by the beach....Yeah BABY....LV by the sea....
But for reals...whats the big deal about a little quake....I didn't even get outa bed for the Landers or Big Bear quakes.....so what if the earth shakes alittle...for those of you who have never had the experience...just imagine standing on some Jello pudding.... I highly recommend the experience if you have the opportunity...just imagine being in mid stroke and the big one hits just imagine the ride you'll get....The ride of a lifetime huh kid? Then when you grandson asks you, "Granddaddy what were you doing when the big one hit, you can proudly say you were doin Mama, and not shoveling ***** in Louisiana.....

I felt it as well. It is the first one that I can remember but I guess I am just so used to them now that it is doesn't matter as much. It's kind of like a little turbulence.

I am visiting Palm Springs right now from Florida. It would have been cool to feel a quake. Unfortunatly I was driving over to the Palm Springs Sky Tram when it hit and never felt it. That would have completed my West coast experiance.
I am off to San Diego for 2 days then back to Palm Springs, there are a few P-cars in the parking lot of my resort. A Cab is right outside my door. Any Pelicans staying at the Westin Rancho Mirage Condo's?? Its beautiful out here I am loving the desert a LOT. The high 90 temps here are nothing compared to Floridas high humidity 90's. Very comfortable.
