* Word definition - does uber really mean 'over'?
I thought it meant something like 'ultimate'?

literal translation from german (don't forget the umlaut - über) is "over". It can be used to mean "ultimate" or "best" etc.

If you can't manage the umlaut, an 'e' following the 'u' is acceptable I believe.
