oh man, this is better than daytime TV!
|
More like a Sopranos episode.

Robert,
For your own sake, shut up now.... |
What silence is golden?
everybody else gets to throw in there 2 cents Hell even Noah has managed to overstep his bounds as moderator and insinuate that we might have had somthing to do with the damage to Andys car... Slander? So no i wont shaddup Besides all you old ladies need something to jaw about Anyone seen the police report? maybe he made it up? We got like 80 fire extinguishers in this place, so flame on! :) (might be looking for work soon) -robert |
Do you have a shovel of your own? I can send you one if you'd like so you can keep digging your hole.
Look, You're making good on the deal, it's an amicable divorce. A wise person knows when to shut up and walk away instead of tossing in tips on how to best break someones window without leaving evidence. |
Correct me if I am wrong but isn't DC located in NC? If so how would you not know what it takes to obtain a NC title? I mean hell don't your own personal cars have a title?
Also kinda stange that Andy causes some heat and all of sudden his window is smashed. I am glad this got posted for one. |
Dr,
Our trucks and cars were all bought new; dealer was nice enough to take car of the title/reg for us... The issue is not about an NC vehicle its about a CT one, CT does not issue titles for cars born after 1981, bill of sale only. This car is a 1971 We have not seen the police report, nor has anyone contacted us regarding the phone calls or the window. So i cannot confirm that it actually happened. We think its strange that no authority has contacted us... Cell phone calls are easily traced I hope the perp if there is one responsible is caught. Robert |
Everyone, step away from your keyboards.

Bottom line is that the car should never have been sold without a title period. And dropping the ball is unacceptable when a customer has waited 4 months for the title. If I ran my company like this I'd be out of business tomorrow.
Although customers are not always right, a little extra effort in special situations such as this one go a long way to keeping customers satisfied and keeping your business honest. 4 months for a title is utterly unacceptable no matter the difficulty involved. Your company should have taken it upon themselves to buy the car back before this mess came to be. I would imagine the al'mighty dollar blinded you from doing the right thing. To have a customer have to seek legal counsel against you is a sure indicator that someone needs to be terminated from your place of business. That's how I would handle it. Good customer, bad employee. It's a rather easy choice for me. But then again, I don't insinuate that any potential customers on this site should be labled as "Old ladies" either. And as far as adding your two cents Robert. Not wise at all. Anything you say (post) can be used against you in court. I would imagine it would be better to let it go and move on. Trust me, I have a tremendous amount of experience in this. |
Die silly thread, die!
Oh, oops. |
Hi everyone,
Thank you for your concern, but I agree with Jim. Let's take a step back and, like I said before, let the investigators make the determination on who is(are) the perp(s). My focus is to complete my business transaction with Mr. Zampardi and get this roller out of my garage. I would also like to stress that the transaction will be completed in a form of return/refund, not a sell-back, of the roller, as it is illegal for me to sell any vehicle without a title and a VIN plate on the windscreen. Thanks again. Andy |
Andy any new news? You get the title? Find the perps?
|
WTF has happened to customer service in this country?! Just as we've seen here, it seems as if many businesses would be far happier to take your money and screw you over, a guarantee that you will never be back. What happened to the customer is always right? Just as I'm sure Andy will, when I receive bad service or have a bad experience with a business, I don't return, letting my wallet do the talking. Is this what companies shoot for today? The flip side, if I am happy with the service I receive, I WILL be back, even if they are more expensive. If I ever have my own business, the best compliment that I could get would be return customers and refferrals, plus it would save on advertising. People just piss me off.....
Any updates? Did they ever catch the a-hole that busted the window? |
