Independence Day
Okay all you righty's and lefty's....put a hold on the bile spewing for a couple of days, relax, take a chill pill, and enjoy another anniversary.
|
Dave:
Some of these guys forget we are all interested in a better world. The sad part is they want it to be the way they see it and not the way others see it. Forget the rhetoric and just for one day try a "group hug". |
Traditional Independence Day vegetarian sushi over at my place, if anyone's interested! :D
|
Sounds inviting...Tucson ain't that far away.
|
Oh, and just to put things in perspective (and probably piss a few people off) George Washington, Paul Revere, and the Minute Men were all "Insurgents"!
|
Couldn't resist, could you?
I wonder if the Brits called them "terrorists"? <G> |

Nope, couldn't resist. Just a little history lesson, and the rabble rouser in me.
Have a great 4th, all. |
DOn't you wish all threads could be this civil?
|
Yes I do, but I'm sure it won't take long for some "patriot" to turn it around.
|
Ever notice the word "Patriot" contains the word "riot"?
Sort of like "funeral" contains the word "fun". |

If King George were alive today, he would be treated with drugs and advised to avoid too much sunlight. |
See, tcar, these libs just can't help trying to revise history! ;)

LOL. I have had family in the this country since the 1740s. The ugly truth? They were British symapthizers and were run out of the country during the war. Came back from Canada in the 1850s. Real proud patriotic history :)

How relevant. |
Reddish blue urine sounds like a nice festive touch for the 4th. I'm surprised Martha Stewart didn't think of it first.
