Any DIY boat BBS like this?

Does anyone have a DIY maintenance BBS like Pelican that they use for boating? Specifically looking for Sea Ray information for a friend but reall can be any boat.

Thanks

Pete,
About the only place I have found for specific Sea Ray info is searayowners.com, it has a very similar layout to Pelican and the people are very helpful. Last spring I sold an antique Mastercraft that I had restored and got a new Sea Ray so I don't get much of a chance to tinker on the boat now. If he has any mechanical questions tell him he can give me a shout. Other than that I don't think he can go wrong with a Sea Ray if it has been taken care of in the past.

Thanks Dan! I have friends and family that like to work on their boats which include a 40' Express and 17' bow rider.

Try this forum, they have a search feature located near the upper right hand corner, or you can post questions.

Great website.

What Sea Ray do you have? I have a 220 sun deck! I want to start doing all the maintenance myself also. There seems to be a lot of conflicting info out there. Keep me posted on what you find please!!

Eagle,
Spring of 2004 I bought a new 185 sport with the 4.3 alpha one. I have put almost 100 hours on it so far and the boat has been a true pleasure to own. Best of all this year I sold my parent's Corvette and now the boat is garage kept which keeps it much cleaner. My only regret is not getting the wakeboard tower when I originally purchased the boat, b/c now Sea Ray wants $3000-3500 for one.
As far as maintenance, my local dealership is very helpful and open with information on how to do stuff. My salesman knows that if they are really nice to me we could have a very long relationship--I am only 24. If you have any specific questions feel free to ask. Here is a pic of the boat.
