Anyone watch Top Gear Last night?

They put a GT3RS against a Lightweight Ferrari 360 (I think) on the track and got identical lap times. I think I fell in love!!!!!!!!

I love the way they really wring the cars out. They don't baby them at all. The host driving the Porsche even passed the Ferrari race driver on the track.

They also tested a Rolls Royce, and then asked why a British car that great couldn't be built in Britain.

Basically said a Maserati was useless.

Drove the snot out of a supercharged Mercedes SLR (?)

Then played lawn darts with a pressurized nitrogen cannon and a few used cars as darts.

What a great show!

I watched it last night. It was an awesome episode. I really enjoyed the car darts. That was excellent and probably the highlight of the show for me. The GT3 RS vs. Ferrari 360 was cool as well. Remeber the "RACE" button in the Ferrari? Lol. I liked the GT3 RS better overall though. To me, the Bently segment was a bit boring, but still informative, and the "Sport Ka" segment was hilarious. I loved that SLR too. I would love to drive or ride in any of those cars on any day (except for the "dart" cars). BTW, my neighbor took me for a ride in his '02 Maserati 3200 Spyder (the 3.2 litre version). I can't imagine how fast that could be with a larger engine, but Top Gear said it wasn't that good.

I am in Europe at the moment.

Saw today's show, about the Cadillac (expensive and only avail in LH drive, dammit) and the Aston-Martin convertible (speed limited to 136 instead of 165 because the soft top shreds).

It was a riot.

Great show, will set the DVR when I get back to get it when home.
