The Great White Buffalo Chase

Today I took a Colt Revolver that I sold down to my favorite GFun Dealer in LV for shipping.... I coulda shipped it to his FFL Dealer in CA directly via Fed Ex for $12 ....and saved him a bunch of dinero....but nooooo!

Anyway thats not the point of this little story....while I am at the gun shop I am looking around t see what the guy has thats interesting....A nice pre series 70 NM in 45 Acp for $950 , a nice Winchester model 61 in immaculate shape...for $425 and a NM Garand that looks like it has barely even been fired....hooo haaa a NM Garand for just under $2000 out the door....yeah baby come to poppa thats a $2500 rifle.

He also got in 20 HK AR15 30 round mags.....the last 10 that he got went right to Iraq.....so I bought me 3 of those ...and they ain't cheap a $65 each....but they is the snaze....

So I'm drivin homeward with all smiles thinkin about whether I should Buffet or not to Buffet when I spot this White 356 Coupe parked in a guys driveway amongst abunch of other Muscle cars.....So I screech the brajkes make a Uie and stop and get out to look and it's HOT....it turned out to be a White 1960 356B Coupe...if U boyz recall I had a thread about a 356B that I had seen previously in LV....so I was about to get in my truck when a young guy in the house calls me over and says that all these cars are for sale Among the cars was a 69 Charger Daytona with front and rear spoilers in full NASCAR race trim, a couple of convertible Camaros, a AMX. a 429 Torino and a coupla cars I just didn't pay any attention to..... the young guy calls his Dad and he says he's bin offered 13.5K and 14K on the 356 by a couple of Porsche Sharks and he wants 16 or 17K for the car.. the car has a respray, and needs rubber and rechroming...and the body appears straight....the owner says it runs real good..someone had pulled the carpets up to look at the floor pans and they looked A OK to me....

Anyway Dad tells me he has a 72 and 73 911S's a 356 Cab and a 82 SC Cab......the 72 S has 20,000 miles and the 73 has 101,000 miles.....hooo haaa does ne want to sell...NOOOOOO.....he says what is he going to do with the money....he doesn't need it......Oh well I left the name and number if he should change his mind.. so it turns out to be jsut another day on the the Great White Buffalo trail....

Tabs,

Also I have seen 20, 30 and 40 AR15 mags for sale at Cheaper than Dirt often. Have you looked there or are you wanting this specific brand mag?

HK makes mags for the AR15, M16....they is the SNAZE with their steel followers...they are just great construction....and in demand...the guy who owns the shop which BTW specializes in Assualt Weapons and Tactical gear...can't keep them in stock...

All I can say about the Camaros is that they are 67-69 convertibles...It's GM after all...

After he said 72S and 73S....my attention was immediately diverted from anything else he said...He did say eighties SC Cab though?

If that guy wants to sell any of those 3 cars...I'll be a potential buyer...that would end my quest for anything Porsche...all I know at this point are the few words that we spoke on the phone...and from where he lives he ain't hurtin for anything...except maybe more garage space...

Geez I wish I knew I was invited....but the Bay area would give me the Willies....walking among the Liberals...ewww it just gives me shivers thinking about it....
