How do I do this?
How can I make the:
"18 Years In Storage…1974 911" which appears at the bottom of this message link directly to this: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/228474-18-years-storage-1974-911-a.html Thanks, Dave |
I think you would use something like:
(a href="http://forums.pelicanparts.com/show...threadid=228474")18 Years In Storage…1974 911(/a) replace () with <> and <a href="http://forums.pelicanparts.com/show...threadid=228474">18 Years In Storage…1974 911</a> edit: you can add target="_blank" to load the page in a new window place it after the url inside the brace. |
Most BBS's including this one do not use standard HTML markup, instead they use VB Code.
http://www.socnetcentral.com/vb/misc.php?do=bbcode Gives examples of the most common code. You are looking for URL linking, about 1/2 way down the page. |
Hey guys!
Thanks...it worked! Check out the nice looking link below. I used the BBS VB code. Dave |
