Anyone bought DeWalt DC011 Work Site Radio/Charger

Looking for a rugged boombox......has does this compare to Bosch or others? I have DeWalt tools.....so....first choice.

Do any of the others charge different manufacturers batteries?

They all sound bad - why spend $$ on one?

Get an extra charger, and a nicer sound player...

We have one in our shop. It pretty well sucks. Looks cool, and makes noise. But when you turn the tuning knob, it jumps all over the place, and not always in the direction you are turning. A $20 walmart boom box would work just as well....

I've had several come through the pawn shop; they sell pretty quick. I think the Bosch sounds much better, kept on for my bike area.

I got one on sale at Lowes, it was priced about the same as a charger, & wanted a charger to keep out the shop.. Lots of other noise in the background to tell how good the sound is (plus I'm half deaf..
