Ozzfest 05

I went to the concert in Hartford tonight and it was great even though the weather sucked. There were a bunch of ****ty bands that played but seeing Iron Maiden and Black Sabbath was amazing. Black Sabbath was so heavy plus the set list was great too. Iron Maiden puts on a great show, Bruce Dickinson has way too much energy. Other notables were In Flames, Mastodon(unfortunately I didnt get to see the entire set), and Shadows Fall (although they played all new stuff).

Stupid question, but did Ozzy sing with Black Sabbath? Did they have all the original guys there? Tony, Geezer? Bill Ward on drums? That would be great to see. Did they play alot of old stuff? Fairies Wear Boots, et al?

Man, that would give me chills....

Yup the original line up. It was also Geezer Butler's b-day. The set list was (not in order):

NIB
After Forever
The Wizard
Fairies Wear Boots
Electric Funeral (my fav of the night)
Into The Void
War Pigs
Iron Man
Paranoid
Dirty Women
Children of the Grave
Black Sabbath

There are one or two I don't remember it was a 90 min set.
