Punishment for aiding terrorists?
 

So what would the punishment be for helping terrorists, like training them how to go undetected on crowded public transport, how to communicate and avoid detection by the security services, and how to transport weapons and stop deterioration of explosives?

IMO, the closest link between Sadaam and Osama is that the US 'aided' both of them for years before they became the bad guys...where does that put us (or US) in the scheme of things? Just food for thought.... BTW, I'm basically apolitical (I view almost all politicians, Rep. or Dem. as being just that...politicians), and am both conservative and liberal (depends upon the issue at hand). Why would someone join a car forum (albeit OT), with seemingly no p-car interests and just 'stir the pot'... what's your motive David (or is it Mulholland, RedUFO, or whatever)?

David, thank you and I offer you an apology! There have been a few folks that have come on OT (exclusively) in the past couple of years who've done nothing but spew their political viewpoints (both right and left), and have not left this place better for it. I mistakenly thought that you might be another...carry on :)! BTW, I (like any sane) person have no regard for terrorists whatsoever, but IMO, that's just a politically correct label that's being used these days. Think about it...if you don't think 'our' government engaged in 'terrorist activities' in our relatively short history...go ask a Native American their opinion. BTW, welcome, and where in NC are ya?

I'd bet you have a greater appreciation for 'wrongs committed by the US gov' than most of us here. Our relatively short history is not exactly a 'shining example' in many regards...I still think we're 'learning as we go', but we (the US) could do a lot better imo.

The past is past and still the US does not understand even I have kill people for our Gov. name. Disable Vietnam Vet. 69 to70 you sound like a good person , keep up the good work maybe with more good person in America we can change it.
