Hayward!

Man.....that is 50 miles from no where. I used to train some of the IT folks from the local indian tribe (Lac du Court Orielles?). Yes, it means 'lake of the short ears'.

Bring booze.....and mosquito repellant.

I miss Wisconsin. I spent 4 years living there, and during the summer time it is just beautiful. February however......

When I lived in MN we'd go fishing every weekend. On a vacation up north though we found a secluded cove with a ton of Northern. If you were lucky enough to have a white spinner bait with skirt, you could cast out and a 10 pounder would jump up out of the water and catch it close to splashdown.

later that day (best frickin day in my entire 11-year-old life) my mom had a muskie on her line. She actually got it along side the boat and the thing looked like a alligator, it was HUGE. must have been 4-5 feet if it was an inch. with so much commotion, she lost it, but it was one of the most amazing things I've still ever seen.

They're nasty and mean. They'll take your lure and bring it back to their lair. You can have one on for 20 min. before you set the hook...a trolling
motor is your best friend...
