Ebay Tractor...Scam?
I can't figure out how to post a URL link that actually works so here's the item number.
7536269393 Obviously, something is a miss. That thing is probably worth 10 times the buy it now price. Anyone have any experience with an ad like this that is too good to be true?

Yeah it's no longer on ebay. How about this one? Very similar ad from another 0 feedback user who joined ebay the same day.

Looks VERY similar to the Harley scam awhile back.

All right, where in the world on Evay do you report suspicious items like this one. I just searched their site for ten miuntes and did not see anywhere to report the item.

rhk,
At the bottom of the page of the listing, there is a link to "Security Center." Click that, then click the "Report Problem" button after selecting "Report another problem." Then you can go through the steps and notify Ebay about fraudulent listings, etc.

I just got an email from the seller. The auction is over and the reserve was not met. The item is still available and the seller want to use Squaretrade as the money middleman. Was I wrong about this one? How safe is Squaretrade?

Careful -- I got one of those "too good to be true" e-mails on an auction about a month ago. I looked into it, and it perfectly fit the template for a scam that e-bay had listed on their FAQs site. Be careful.

Google is your friend. http://www.infopackets.com/channels/en/windows/gazette/2004/20041027_alert_ebay_and_squaretrade_scam.htm
Read up, and tread carefully.
