Well, the "race" is over.
We went out on the highway. Me in the lead. Free stretch ahead, no traffic. He is right behind. I am in third gear about 3500 rpm. He is ready for when I start accelerate, his turbo on boost. I wave at him, make sure he is ready. And then I floor it. We were both convinced he would overtake - but I was just in awe of what my little car could do. He never caught me !!! At about 200 km/hr I let off and his wasnīt even close. But really pissed off !!!! Woooww !! :D |
Good for you...

You know he's going to want to reverse the starting positions, otherwise every time you tell the story you'll get a "Yeah, but..."

i used to have an 86 200sx that would light the tires up at about 60mph from just throttle and no clutch that was enough to scare would be racers on the highway as well as leave a nice urine smell in the car, basicly what im saying is, be careful of what may come of that car

Thats hilarious, Peter !
Itīs the exact words he used when we got back ! :D |
The nissan 200sx was never a factory turbo. If he had an aftermarket turbo and still couldnt beat a stock 911 then the car needs a seroius overhaul. How many lbs of boost does he push?

Terry,
I donīt know about the US market, but here this model came stock with turbo. 2 L, 200 Hp, rear wheel drive. |

Glad to see you protected your car's clutch, also sounds safer than a stop light drag race. |

Of course, you could always go side-by-side, just stay w/him for the first 20mph (or 40kph, whatever works in Sveeden), then blow him down. That would end the what-if's and buts.:D |
