But... I like you guys. I mean it, I do. I'm a total assshole sometimes, way too far to the right to seem reasonable to those of you too far left to seem reasonable.

I've tried hating this board, I tried to convince myself that I don't need to come here. It doesn't work. I end up back, just like you schmucks always do.

So, i've decided to try to like the board. hate doesn't work, it just feeds the disease and makes it harder to leave. If I'm going to be here, I might as well try to enjoy it, right?

No, seriously, I have the same affliction. The great thing about this place is that you can have *intelligent* conversations with people who totally disagree with you. How great is that?

Umm I guess that would make it Monday AFTERnoon wouldn't it? Still, you had to have started early to get to the "I love you guys" state of mind by now.

I like the fact that for the most part, the folks on here do not resort to name calling. Things get heated, but it generally does not turn into just outright flame wars.

I feel the same way, everyone has their opinion and most of the time the discussions aren't name-calling sessions, just venting. It must be entertaining and informative or we wouldn't all be here...

This bored is like a natural alkoloid - once it makes it's way to imprinting itself onto your synapse your a goner. It has absolutley effected my productivity at work, home and even with PCA and sveral other projects i have bubbling around. Oh well...

SvK - best be carefull of that, I was up tp 10 cups and developed arthymia. My heart was doing this wild syncupated thing. Sounded like Billy Cobham on acid. Quit for 5 years till we had our daughter and I had to push out some papers. Monkey on the back eversense.

Yep, I love you guys whether you understand politics or not. I appreciate our discussions very much, and consider them to be part of an important national dialogue. Lots of intelligent folks disagree with me here, and that's actually exciting. There are at least two who don't get it though, and frankly that makes me sad. But for the most part, I consider this to be a fine, intelligent group of folks with a wide range of viewpoints and who often remember the values we have in common. I'm afraid you guys are going to have to put up with me for a long time.

I have noticed that some of you (me included) would like to take a 2X2 to each other on some issues, BUT, you would also, and gladly so help each other when it comes to the Porsche in our lives, differences are good, extreme sides on some issues are okay . But then, Porsche is for the passionate..Rika
