Limbaugh is an A$$

Limbaugh has accused Paul Hackett (ran and lost the Ohio runoff election for Congress) of going to Iraq and fighting for his country to 'pad his resume' for his political ambitions. What an a$$.

bryanthompson 08-10-2005 08:33 AM

He does seem very Kerry-esque, does he not? Kerry did use 'nam to pas his own resume.

TerryBPP 08-10-2005 08:35 AM

News Flash.

His rantings have no substance anymore, well maybe a controlled substance.

Yes, Kerry went to 'Nam, piloted a gunboat up and down those rivers getting his a$$ shot at, just so he could be a politician.

EdT82SC 08-10-2005 08:42 AM

That's just the way Limbaugh supports our troops. He does it as long as it is politically expedient for him to do so.

Why would a politician feel they have to be in the military these days? Look at how Bush's lack of service didn't hurt him, and Kerry's service didn't help him. Given the chances of dieing, losing a limb, or other permenent injury it would seem to me that there are much easier ways to pad your resume.

Is that so hard to believe? Some of your kook theories seem much more implausable than that!

EdT: bush served. Kerry's service got him as far as he got (the senate). To say Kerry didn't use his service to get elected is moronic. Look at how often he mentioned that he served in 'nam during 2004.

By the way, did you guys know that Kerry served in Vietnam?

DaveE 08-10-2005 08:55 AM

Bryan, I do know that Kerry served in 'Nam. I also know that Bush didn't. In fact, I know that he used daddy and grand-daddy to get him out of it and find him a slot in the National Guard instead, leaping over 500 others on the list. I also know that Cheney used 5 deferments to get out of serving during that war, something about having 'other priorities'. Rummy couldn't make it either, by the way.

bryanthompson 08-10-2005 08:57 AM

Why don't ya go forge some documents, that sure helped last time this issue came up.

legion 08-10-2005 08:58 AM

That's right...those documents Dan Rather found were factually correct, even though they were forged by someone with an agenda.

lendaddy 08-10-2005 08:59 AM

Hillary Clinton said that all soldiers are useless lemmings. What a b1tch!

DaveE 08-10-2005 09:02 AM

So you're saying those 3 were in Viet Nam?? That's news for sure!

DaveE 08-10-2005 09:23 AM

Not quite, Len. The difference being that Limbaugh actually said Paul Hackett went to Iraq to pad his resume..............

Fine, lets have the citation.

targa911S 08-10-2005 09:32 AM

And you just figured that out. Not news. He's been an ass for years, maybe since birth.

legion 08-10-2005 09:33 AM

Thankfully he isn't an actual politician. We all know they never say stupid things.

lendaddy 08-10-2005 09:33 AM

Again, lets have it....in full context.
