Attention Georgians:: Looking for specific 928

We have recently learned the demise of a certain 928, and it would really mean a lot if one of the area pelicans could find and take a picture of this car.

This car has provided those of us on the 944/924 board with endless amounts of entertainment, and also sadness. It's sad to see an owner do this kind of thing to such a car, but we knew it would end up dying eventually. A picture of this car in its final resting place would really help to bring some closure.

I'm not familiar with the car, threads or stories, so where in Georgia is it. I'm way up north in the mountains, if it is up here, I might could help. Don't ask me to go down and mingle with the flatlanders though.

CJF, do you think we could pay off AFJuvat to give us the name / location of the former owner? :D

just try to get the VIN, if we find that, we can find the car

but didnt he say that the guy was going to move to georgia?

had the car actually made it there?

or is it still in florida?

It is in GA, somewhere around Athens - That is where he is living anyways.

I did see a white 928 a few times on 285 East. I trailed him for a bit until I had to exit. This was months ago though..

I'll keep my eye open.

If someone finds that car I think it ought to be resurrected and trailered (or better still, driven) to Pelican headquarters out here.

If someone finds that car I think it ought to be resurrected and trailered (or better still, driven) to Pelican headquarters out here. That car is legendary.
