C-2 Circling in Norfolk VA - Can't Drop the Landing Gear
 

Just watching CNN - a C$ has been cirsling the base in Norfolk VA in an attempt to get rid of some fuel and continue to work on the landing gear. Poor guys - prayers said...

They landed! Cool coverage. End of story. Now back to your regularly scheduled programing...

Saw film of the belly landing. Was the starboard engine shut down during? It sort of seemed like only the port prop was turning, although I just saw a bit of footage while flying home from NYC.

speaking of Norfolk .... that just reminded me of how much I hate it..

Only Va Beach make it bearable.

BTW any servicemen in VaBeach. If you ever go to DamNeck ( FCTCLANT ) there is a statue just inside the main gate by the lake ... thats me .. so to speak, I posed for it in 85-86 sometime.

Va Beach wasn't all that either. I hear the Jewish Mother has gone down hill. The new Va Beach downtown(Pembroke) is shaping up food and shopping wise.
