DC Area Drive & Dine, August 20th, through Loudoun County
Some of us Porsche fans are scheduling a Loudoun county drive and dine. Dine details are still being worked out but we intend to have a BBQ caterer. Cost each should not top $15. Picnic shelter has been reserved at Algonkian Park in Northern VA as the starting and ending point.

Join us for our first Drive and Dine Experience on Saturday, August 20, 2005! We will meet at Algonkian Park at approximately 2:00 pm and drive through a picturesque route in Virginia, returning back to the park at approximately 6-6:30 pm, when we will enjoy a relaxing barbeque and fellowship around our friends and cars! So far there are about 10-12 cars registered, a Boxster and two Carreras, Audi S4, RX8, etc., so we are in need of more Porsches. There is plenty of room. The menu being proposed follows but will be finalized on Friday. Cost should not top $15 (park shelter fee, food, and drinks), kids should be less. I will post it as soon as I find out.
Intended menu: Pulled chicken BBQ, wheat rolls, Coleslaw salad, Rosemary baby red potatoes, Baked BBQ beans, Diet soda, regular soda and lots of water/ice

Cost is nailed down:
$15 adult ($12 food, $3 picnic shelter fee) $6 child Menu prepared by top culinary George Fuentes: Pulled chicken BBQ Wheat roll Rosemary red potatos Baked beans Cole slaw Sodas & water Dinner will be served around 6-6:30 pm.
