By the time she's 30, she'll be drooping all the way to Cuba. Yikes.

Isnt that a much better image than one of Shaun trying to "save the world by moderating the parts for sale" section? :) JoeA |

She's really cute, just needs breast reduction surgery. It would not be fun to be a woman and have those.

I'm really happy to see you guys convert this into a b00bfest, as it started out as a pretty base and unbelievable rant.
While I'm not taking sides, and I love a parts bargain as much as the next guy, I think that one side took the high road, and one side took the low road. Both sides are starting new businesses, and freely and proudly post with their company info in their signatures. One of the two I think made statements that not only had to trick the profanity filter, but reflect very poorly on the maturity and integrity of the individual, and therefore, the company they represent. Truth is, first impressions last, and I think that a lot of potential customers may find this level of vitriol off-putting, especially when considering spending their hard-earned cash. |
Denis,
Had a old lady friend who had this surgery. We had moved on and I ran into her years later. Could not figure out what it was but she looked absolutely great afterwards. She told me that she had 20 pounds of ugly fat removed then cupped her titties and smiled. Totally changed her life. She could stand up straight, was not self conscious and just felt better. Unfortunately another gent felt the same way I did and married her, otherwise I would have swept her off of her feet and carried her away that second. My Mother was rather well endowed. Having 48DD's later on in life she suffered a lot in this area. Caused back problems to no end. Summer was a bear and she always asked "why do I have to carry these around" as well as "they worked well when I was young but wish I did not have to put up with them now" but this was a long time ago and reduction surgery was not an option then. I had to clean this one up a bit (she had nice perky nipples BTW) but the mod gets all excited over things like this...

I can't take anymore. I fall into Shaun's category as one who views this as a community. I would certainly want someone to mention to me what the market is if I had no idea what something's market was. Yeah the seller mentioned goodwill towards a fellow pelican but was he thinking $100 or $1,000.
Shaun is a good guy, wait a great guy. He has helped me tremendously. Souk, still waiting for you proof of Shaun ripping people off. I highly doubt it exists. He has been extremely generous towards me and others I know with free parts and help. Just curious, what were you putting the ducktail on? I was going to post some means thoughts that popped into my head but I think the juvenile stuff already blurted is getting quite old. David |

Thanks Paul - back on subject.

Love the boobs, really, but in talking in email and PM with several folks who completely slammed me, one thing became very clear.
In my earlier posts, like page one, I failed miserably in explaining that Bruce, the ducktail seller, was requesting a valuation on the ducktail. The thread being so cut up, that was lost entirely on the cutting room floor. There is a tremendous amount of context that is gone from the thread. In one person's words, one who slammed me consistently and pretty hard, "I guess most of us didn't see that." and two others that were very similar. You can see the last shred of it in Bruce's second post, still up: "My price you ask? If I can get about 70-80% of what it is worth in the market (thus the need to establish just what that is), I think that is fair. So, in advance, thank you for your time and this place to post items like this." But what I really want to say is that there is no doubt that I've been a real jerk to many people in the OT forum. If there's any good that has come of this, it's that I've learned that and am turning over a new leaf, only posting things of substance (subjective, I know), positive or perhaps humorous if I'm lucky. My apologies to Fintstone, legion, lendaddy, bryanthompson and others whom I have maligned in the past. Additionally, I will no longer be some sort of supposed protector of the part value masses. If someone explicitly asks for a valuation, at the very best I'll PM or email him. He can then do what he wants with the info. I hope you'll see more posts like this from me: http://forums.pelicanparts.com/porsche-911-technical-forum/94997-ultimate-ruf-conversion-thread-post2073426.html#post2073426 http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/236637-best-place-sell-watch.html http://forums.pelicanparts.com/off-topic-discussions/236532-calling-island911-come-glenn-entrepreneur-stuff.html Lastly, Souk, your letter from someone I screwed over (page 8). I just have 2 questions: What was the part? If I didn't even know that I screwed the guy over, why would the guy expect "What did I get in return? Nothing. Not a thank you, not an I'm sorry, not a single offer of a $ after what I went through to complete my end..." if this guy exists, have him email me or PM me, I will immediately send him a check for the full amount of his purchase and a $100 gift certificate to a restaurant in his area. |
