DVD Upload on Mac??
 

Has anyone tried to upload DVDs to their Mac?

I am thinking about doing away with my DVD player storing all my DVDs on hardrive and linking the Mac to a plasma screen TV.

Anyone done anything like this or will I be the first?

Just finally got my Tivo unit configured to download videos on my PC. Took a while to get the WiFi networking to "shake hands" and talk with each other.

You can store the movies/videos on a computer or transfer them from the unit to a DVD. Believe that the transferral of data with a good computer might be a bit smoother than a DVD but not sure.

Works fine on mine but its not a Mac. Not sure about config with those but hope that there is a way to do it. I have seen threads on the Tivo forum about using Mac's so believe that there is a way to do it.
