Lots of good memories and some not. Like being clocked at 135 in a 35 after running a stop sign in front of a cop. Decided to run. Lost the two behind me it was the two ahead that ended it. I was going so fast I slamed on brakes at one street and stopped at the next. Spent the weekend with the fellas...

So you didn't outrun the other two cops? Just imagine if you pulled something like that now... you'd have helicopters and the works chasing you and probably get to spend some more time in the clink with "Big Al" .

An 84 Camaro that bought when I was 14 with money I saved from my paper route. I tried to take it apart and fix it up but that never really happened. The good folks at the kidney foundation took it away. The few times I did get to drive it were awesome.

Yeah,
We used to race in public all the time. Everyone cool in high school had muscle cars. My boy Billy had a Chevy Monza Spyder 350 with about 400+ hp. Black primer with a mopar hood scoop.
This ride was EVIL!! We smoked a Chevelle 454 with two 4s peepn out the hood one night. He ended up wraping it around a telephone pole back wards one morn. Bent the whole car in half long ways. The passenger still doesn't remember anything...
I guess were just lucky to be alive.

Truly beautiful car. If I had a car like that in high school I might not have graduated!

Please be careful. All it takes is a tap of the brakes at the wrong time and you're spinning fast.

My first car was a 1965 Corvair Monza Coupe. We found it in sitting in a chicken barn and bought it for $112.50 and got a free chicken coop for my Mom to use in creating an outdoor coffee table. We got it running in 6 months, painted in 6 more, and redid the interior after that.

At least it was an air-cooled flat 6.

1979 Fiat X1/9. A brown targa just like my car now but different. Couldn't afford to drive it and pay insurance on an airman basic's salary so I sold it to my brother. In less than a year, he flipped it over and totaled it.

First car: 1963 Chrysler Valiant. My grandmother loved that car. Said it smelled of man in the coupe !

Second car: 1976 Porsche 924. Bright Yellow. I was 19 years old and sooo cool in that car - the girls were flocking..

I think there's already a thread somewhere about this...but I'll play again. First car was a '76 911.
