Apple Mighty Mouse, Anyone?
Anyone have the Apple "Mighty Mouse"? I'm debating whether to get one - how much does right-click really add to the ease-of-use on Mac OS X?
|
I use a Microsoft USB mouse on my Mac with no trouble. I've used PCs for a long time, so it feels a little more comfortable.
|
i've used a logitech bluetooth mouse for awhile, but will probaby get one of the mighty mouses. Right click is good, but I still ctrl click out of habit.
|
I'm a PC and UNIX guy mostly, but still I can't imagine using a mouse w/o at least 2 buttons and a scroll wheel anymore. (Currently have a Logitech MX700 - 8 buttons + wheel).

just counted; 11 butons on my logitec mouse. (Mac is now adding right click?)
I never understood the "one button" thinking of the mac. . . kinda seems like a "safety pencil" . ..or designed for hoofed users. link http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore?productLearnMore=MA086LL/A&cid=AOSA10000011166&siteID=ukRUajDh%2AKU-Q3tofHWrJlC0FsVqlkmmBg |
I use the Logitech MediaPlay Mouse, 15 buttons, (scroll wheel goes forward, backward, tilts left and right and pushes down).
I'll buy a mini mouse when it goes cordless. Scott |
I've got a Mighty Mouse. I'm surprised how much of a difference the right click makes in everyday use. The trackball is great too, and the trackball-click is also handy for bringing up dashboard. I'm using the side buttons more now that I've configured them for Spotlight.
I guess I realized how much I've come to appreciate the extra buttons in a short week or so when I was at an Apple Store and was using a computer with the regular Pro Mouse. I was lost without my extra buttons! |
it's dope...get one.
