"Support Illegal Street Racing"

I saw this plastered across the back window of a Civic with a fart-pipe and chopped springs. The sticker ran all the way across the rear window, and was quite readable from some distance due to the size. I cannot imagine why it makes sense to "wear" something like that. I mean, you might as well post, "Yes, officer, I was speeding, a lot." Or "Support illegal drug trafficking."

Anyone have any insight, or should I just give up trying to make sense of the ricer crowd?

Like having a "Proud Member of NAMBLA" on the car. Just does not make sense to advertise some things.

A popular bumper sticker with that crowd, usually placed in the lower left corner of the rear window, reads "bad cop; no doughnut". They must buy them at the same place.

Sad. When I was that age, if a "kid" had what they thought was a fast car - chances are it was. 11 Sec ET car for instance, had a few of those the kids in the neighborhood had. Ugly, but fast.

Kids these days (ricers) are a poor imitation. Nowadays, it's the image that matters most. Dorks.

Why not just put a neon sign in the rear window that says "F**k the Cops"? I mean, if you're going to go, you might as well go all the way.

I know what you mean Randy. We'd spend friday night bracket racing as SIR, then saturday night cruising Golden Gardens with our break out times still painted in white shoe polish on the quarter windows. Then all week in school (Queen Anne High) , no one ever had to prove what they had on the streets, it was on the window .

You have illegal aliens? We need some of those so we can deport 'em.

We just keep getting "undocumented immigrants."

Someone enlightened me on this -

The reason they're not cracking down is to turn 'em all into Social Security contributors.

Yup same thing here, except my car was so ugly many didn't believe the shoe polish. I made a few bucks that way but now realize how crazy and stupid it was. I did enjoy crushing a mint Hemi 'cuda though and have to admit to doing the 0-60 dance more than once in the P-car. I always wondered what kind of idiot would question the dial in time of a full caged car with enough cam and compression to rattle the fenders even at 2000 rpm.

Nowadays I wait for said ricer to get on my butt in the P-car and see if he can follow me around some of my favorite turns, this is typically followed by the sound of screeching tires and the driver struggles to keep his car out of the ditch or guardrail

I still go beserk when I hear loud electric pumps, see rollcages and slicks, compression so high the headers are ringing like doorbells.

Now that, is what I call a CAR!
