So the top brass in Toyota City bit the bullet and built three Prius race cars. Japan's No. 1 automaker managed to produce these race-spec models in the space of just two months with the help of Toyota Racing Development, which runs all the company's Japanese race cars...........................So, will Toyota introduce a new one-make Prius race series next year? The prospects are not good since the company has not noticed much public interest.

Oh, I think gas at over $5.00 a gallon will change the above last line quote.
