Benefit to NRA lifetime membership?
 

Is there any advantage to lifetime membership? I realize it would save money over time, but is there anything else I am missing?

They will give you the chance to pay it out over several years, with no interest.

Besides this, you will know that you are supporting an excellent organization. (flak vest on now, waiting for the liberals)

Michael Moore is a lifetime NRA member, so there's that.

I just received my new card, and was looking at becoming a life member--750.00 is a bit too steep at his time, but the biggest benefit which I see is supporting an organization that will do everything in it's power to maintain the Second Ammendment and the rights associated with it.:)

IIRC you get a $10k accidental death/dismemberment insurance policy with membership.

Also, some ranges insist you have a membership.

I think the NRA gets a bad rap. I think liberal attacks on the NRA have little to do with controlling guns. Its part of a larger cultural war against traditional American culture.

Anyway...I think now is a good time for many people to join the NRA. Too much culture in this country is flying out the window. I'm not a big fan of guns, but I'm a big fan of culture.
