Fire the team's manager.
So when baseball teams are in a slump they make changes with the players on the field--win one or two, keep losing overall, finally fire the manager. A symbolic move? Maybe. The rest of the league takes notice. Gotta blame someone. All professional sports managers know this. You have to hold someone in charge accountable. When put in the top position, you are responsible for your team's ups and downs. It's on your head, as the manager. Most times, managers don't react to slumps quickly enough. We're in a big slump as a country. Time to fire the manager.

Sounds like you're cheering for the other team's manager to lose his job. Pretty easy position to hold, when his success means your own team's failure.
