Moving to Raleigh??

I am considering moving to raleigh, NC. In-laws are in Apex(so not there), Cary is nice but pricey; how is Wake forest, roolesville? Fuquay-varina?
Anyone from the triangle area with info??
Am trying to schedule a quick trip up there Sun-Wed. to have a look-see.

25 degree difference in temps, trees, competitive money, strong housing market, sweet downtown, easy to fly out of, etc.

Raleigh is a nice City but Ashville is a City with a view. Spent a Week in the Spring in Ashville and can't wait to go back. My father is retiring there also.

Chapel Hill area is also great. Look in the Chatham County area by Jordan Lake, benefit of Chapel Hill address but not the expense. Close to Raleigh, Cary but lower taxes and easy commute. Also only 2+ hours to coast. If you travel, RDU airport is just 30 minutes away.

you mean with a roof, a few walls and garage??? Hot is relative, it was 110 with the index for a week or two. 95 is not bad at all, I feel cold at 70.

NC schools absolutely SUCK! No matter where you move to in NC be prepared to send your kids to a private school.
