It's now official
Just had some benign cysts removed from the dog.
She has officially cost me more than my 911. Major contributors to the cost to date were fixing torn ACL's in both knees, $3k for one knee and nearly $3.5 for the other. $1k for the cysts plus food and regular maintenence for 9 years I figure she's cost me close to $15k. She drools, farts, sheds so bad I need to vacuum daily, I must be nuts. She is cute though.  Scott

Scott, The reason you spend the $? Because that cute little critter hanging onto the dog would never forgive you if you didn't.

tell me about it...
3 horses ( all with problems ) 1 Dog ( puppy 7mo ) 5 cats ( all hate each other ) 2 rabbits 2 hamsters those are the domesticated critters the undomesticated are 300 rabbits, bunch of coyotes, squirels, weasels, gophers, etc ..... I miss my loft with no critters ( cept my 2 cats ) ** we have the vet on speed dial and probably have paid for a new truck..

Scott,
The dog is one of your best expenses, unlike many others, they give back. I too have spent large amounts on money on pets (even went to jail for one, long story) and unlike ex's or some friends, never regretted it.
