Any die-hard Dirty Harry, Clint fans out there?
Hey Dirty Harry fans....I just had a great idea......
Anyone see "Space Cowboys"? Well the actor that plays the "young" Clint Eastwood character (Toby Stephens, who also plays the villain in Die Another Day) should star in a Dirty Harry prequel! You know, before Harry made Detective.....I figure since Dirty Harry was 40ish in 1972, the prequel would be set in circa 1962......I think it would make for a very cool concept... Oh yeah, and to make sure the Dialog has enough "bite", get Tarantino to direct! SvK |
Awesome idea!!!!!!!
Anybody here in the movie biz?;) |
A Dirty Harry prequel is a great idea. Toby Stephens looks like a young Clint, too. I wonder who has the rights to such a project.

"I don't know why they call this stuff Hamburger Helper. It does just fine by
itself..." -Cousin Eddie ROTFLMAO..hahahahahaha SvK |
Perhaps they could show what eventually led Harry Callahan to burn out. He could be a young detective, out to make a difference and it shows his transition to Dirty Harry
Good idea though.... |
Jared......What made him Dirty and a mean workaholic is his Wife's death........We know she died already.
SvK |
But rather...than getting into they're romance....and all that gewy stuff..
The opening scene ....should be Harry sitting in the emergency-ward, staring blankly at the wall, as the doctor tells him that his wife is dead..... Now THAT is a gritty opening! SvK |
forgot that. Guess i gotta watch it again..
But it would be cool to see a transition from a honest, moral cop to Dirty Harry |
"I gots to know!"
CLICK! hehheh classic |
Clint went mass media after "The Good, Bad, & the Ugly".

I think I'm watching Space Cowboys now; old guys go into space to repair Russian satellite? 356 parked at his house?
