Al Qadea promises LA is NEXT!!!!

And they aren't going to be nice about it, like they were last time...A tape dropped off by Al Qaeda at ABC in Pakistan has threatened LA and Melbourne as their next targets...

I was going to bring this up in a thread today..what does Al Qadea do next...If history is any indicator they will retry to attack targets that they previousily tried to attack and failed

So what does that leave us with...

On 911 they failed to hit the White House and Capital Buildings in Washington DC.

They failed in their attack on the tunnels in NYC

And they were thwarted in their attack on LAX in 2000....

Why not bomb the main terminals at major Airports..before any security checkpoints are reached...

I think if they were planning anything serious in the last 4 years, their plans probably have shifted with the events of this last month. If L.A. is anywhere near as effed up as N.O., I would imagine they are looking for ways to get emergency managers scratching their heads. What that would be... i have no idea. We've disassembled most of their organization, financial infrastructure, and leadership. The last four years, I think they have been more concerned with survival and getting re-organized than anything.

fintstone 09-11-2005 09:57 PM

Nah, it is just a decoy...they will attack a target that Americans really care about.

Mulhollanddose 09-11-2005 09:59 PM

Since they are the seat of the promotion of decadence, from abortion to homosexuality, I see it as being a perfect target...The irony is the Islamofascists have no greater friend to Americas decay than the Hollyweird lefties...Look at the bright side, I am in Washington right now and housing prices will go down:D

What is bad about this is that the person in the video was supposedly an American...

I think this is nothing to be glib about.

LA has got to be at the top of their list. Who knows, OC . .. this guy could have a thing against Disneyland. (and I believe the current number of children they would like to kill is 2 million)

FrayAdjacent911 09-11-2005 10:32 PM

Melbourne? They're pissed at the Aussies, too?

You can't hardly blame him. He probably watched one too many televised Democratic Convention, or CNN/CBS report that claimed all the world's ills originate in the US....and believed it.

Yeah. And who'd want to bomb Bellingham; a land of rain and drunks...

L.A.'s got a ****-load more importance than a hell of a lot of other places in this country. Let's see: last I heard, CA. has the 15th largest economy in the world, and most of that comes from SoCal. And you probably think those billions come from lefty movies, right? Wrong. Try software and telecommunication, tourism, pharmaceuticals, fashion and auto design, just to name a few.

Believe me, L.A. goes and the U.S. is screwed worse than NY.

Besides which; you once lived down here in this land of fags, aborted fetuses and commies, remember...? I even think I once read in one of your posts that you were a one-time male model. I mean, oh shante'... ;)

Clearly LA is an economic powerhouse, but Al Queada would have to strike Saudi Arabia...or the Kennedy compound to find a higher percentage of people who support their cause...

island911 09-11-2005 11:04 PM

You know Alqadea became very well funded post 9/11. Ask yourself; are there any countries who would give/sell nukes to Alqadea?

How would you know? What possibly do you know about L.A. and those who live here, and their opinion of al Queda and Bush? I have to say you're speaking from utter ignorance. You cannot fathom the ***** L.A. has gone through since 9/11. The fear that runs through this city, the paranoia, etc. It isn't all about Barbara Streisand and Sean Penn out here. We've got about 3.5 million other everyday people who adopt the same kill the towel head bastard and God Bless America vitriol as anywhere else in the U.S.

Oh, but I know: it's what the media tells you, right? Everyone is a left wing commie in L.A. Guess they have you fooled, too.

Sure. Saudi Arabia. But Bush ain't bombing his oil homies.

Mulhollanddose 09-11-2005 11:12 PM

I know, dd, the hard lefties run the show and make damn sure you keep your anything but lefty political opinion to yourself or else face blackball or ridicule.

fintstone 09-11-2005 11:12 PM

I have nothing against LA, but it seems to me that a large percentage of the population of LA and Al Q have 2 similar goals. Both very much want to humiliate Bush and get him out of the White House....and both want the troops out of Iraq. very similar goals... Am I wrong?

Tell Michael Moore I said hi!

Overpaid Slacker 09-11-2005 11:14 PM

dd -- isn't it "Barbra"? You can't be a total Leftoid if you get that wrong. :D

Hitting LA would be devastating -- esp if it took out the ports there. I'd cry less if the epicenter of a California attack was the faculty lounge at Berkeley, frankly.

Now would be a VERY opportune time for a strike, but I have my doubts if AQ has the resources to coordinate such a feat right now -- at least w/o a strong Fifth Column in the US.

Surely even the Islamists must realize that the enemy of my enemy....is my friend........Why not pick on a red state?

Yep; but still, LA (area) is where this guy is from. Something tells me he could easily sell the idea of hitting LA.

NYC, London .. . Y2k, LA doged a (small) bullet.

Well, I for one, would be quite pissed. LA still is the old Porsche center of the world....although the liberal faculty at Berkley are certainly expendable....mid-year Porsche's are invaluable.
