Steak & Shake (a.k.a "Wake & Bake in college) started here, their burgers are way too greasy. Hardees any day. I used to love Carl's Jr., but their menu has disappeared from the Hardees lineup.

What's to prefer? The lowest available quality meat? The crackheads and work-release prisoners preparing your food? Yuck!

But if you have to eat fast-food burgers, how about Five Guys? They're franchising all over the place and the meat is actually decent.

Or if you like huge, RARE burgers you can trust (maybe), how about Fuddruckers?
