Ah, you can't trust elections. Some real boneheads get elected and then re-elected.

!?:cool: . . resign for refusing Fed help? . . for making the Fed-level and Bush look bad. (?) These people are hero's to Democrats. Hell, they even sold-out and drowned a few of their pawns to do it.

Brown was sacrificed to the media/DNC machine...Something it seems Republicans do regularly and Democrats rarely do. If Brown has any balls whatsoever he will write a book and come out with both barrells blasting at Nagin, Blanco and the media.

Sorta like when McCarthy was burned at the stake, yet Alger Hiss was lifted upon the left's shoulders after he was a proven communist spy.

As many here (PPOT) have questioned Brown's "experience" over the last couple weeks... It seems the following needs to be consdered as well...

Last year, Charlie, the 2nd most expensive hurricane in US history - Ivan, the 3rd most expensive hurricane in US history - Francis, the 4th most expensive hurricane in US history - Gene, the 6th most expensive hurricane in US history, all which took place within 6 weeks of each other, were all handled by the head of FEMA, Mike Brown.

IIRC, FEMA's response to all four hurricanes was viewed as almost completely positive.

Brown's undoing was a few broken levees. Had the levees not been breached, we could get on with more important debates: gay marriage, steroids in MLB, and why the French hate Lance Armstrong... :D
