Needless to say-THAT ROCKS!!

Unfortunatly it's too big to use here.

Any way to compress something like that?

Question 2-Where does one acquire "moving" avatars?

Steve Carlton 09-12-2005 06:43 PM

You can search the web for animated gifs.

I'd be curious if existing ones could be resized. I believe you can make them with Microsoft GIF Animator. 50x50 pixels and 6K max file size makes it tough here...

So how do you do them?

svandamme 09-12-2005 10:55 PM

paintshop pro comes with animated gif shop

allows for creating , editing and downscaling of such gifs

It's basically like any other animated thing.
multiple images that are at a set timeframe.

they are called Gif98a ( I think )

That's some cool stuff guys. The urinal one is mesmerizing. Don-I like yours-but I always have to scroll quickly when my kids are around. I just don't want to answer any questions:). Thom's still sets the standard, but again, quick scroll time.

I thought I was having fun by playing with still photo-shoped images.

Thanks, Stijn. Wasn't for Pelican, but maybe I'll switch later...

edit- problem, it's over 12K now. Any way to crop to to 80 without losing resolution?
