Don't hesitate to go to the hospital if it persists for longer than 10 minutes.

like island suggested, do some coordination exercises. make sure it's not something serious.

You know you've been on PPOT way too long when you can create a new thread without any vision...

I'm back, sorry for the delay. Didnn't mean to cause drama. I did wig out there for a moment waiting for chest pains and numb arms, etc.. That never happened. I just got up from laying down since and I think I know what it was. I think I dodged a migrane bullet. I have only had two in my life and it's been years. My migranes are not "oh, leave him alone, he's having a migrane" They are, "sweet **** I'm seeing double....oh my god my head is going to explode...scream....scream....etc...." I use to have a standing script 10-12 years ago, but have since forgotten (no occurances).

Anyway, my head feels bruised, but no migrane craziness actually happened. My vision is still a little goofy, but getting better. Thanks and if anything else happens I'll be off to the docs. Thanks and sorry again.

Len,

Please go to a doctor and make sure. This is not a game, its life and death and needs to be confirmed. YOu should have health insurance, get a doc to check your heart and such and MAKE SURE!

Am not kidding, dammit, do it! Tonight is better, tomorrow at the latest!

Check your head too. (I mean that literally).

Also, didn't you mom warn you that you'd go blind if you continued...

I'm glad its nothing serious. I know what you mean with the messed up vision. I've had 3 migranes in my life and that is how each one started. And they put me out of action for hours!

Yep, I appreciate the concern and I was pretty scared for about 10min, then it all seemed so familiar and I knew exactly what it was. I am VERY happy that it never went ballistic, it is horrible. My first one was so bad I was literally screaming. The second was about 1/2 that, and this one.... the third was 1/10th maybe.

Right now my melon feels like a giant bruise (again, exactly what happens after the migrane) so I feel confident in my self diagnosis.

It was freaky though, I was trying to read a fax number off the bottom of an e-mail and simply could not. Cover an eye...still no, cover the other, nope. Then I started rubbing my eyes and looking out the corners, etc.. and still nothing, that's when I started to wig out.

Weird stuff, I think Nostatic is right about Time Warner, they ainst to be fukced with

Gonna take a break from the screen for a while, thanks again.

Len, "rogue weld flash" Have you ever had flash burns before? I had them once; "sore" eyes for much of the afternoon, but then after I turned in for the night I awoke a couple hours later with what could only be described on someone dumped hot sand in my eyes. Have someone at the ready to drive you to the ER just in case.
