Thread ratings are stupid
Why do we have thread ratings? I think they are worthless.
A minority of the people who post can sway the rating one way or the other. In political discussions, it just becomes a pi$$ing match over whose side you’re on. And they're completely redundant. You can tell a good thread when 175 people respond. And a lousy one when few or no people respond. Now go ahead and rate this thread so people know whether or not to read it.

Actually, that's not entirely true. I rated the senior center dance party five-stars just to get people who wouldn't have seen the pics to go see the thread. Now that it has any stars, everyone who goes to it will be angry that they were tricked and they'll rate it down. From then on, everyone will be wondering why it only has one star, so they'll go look at it.
Bottom line... nostatus should be fired for allowing the pic to live

We ought to have individual post ratings.
That way when no sence bad speelling post speak nonsens, droning on on and on but start talking 'bout funny different topics like sammiches, but therest of the tread is ok until some shick says Hey look at me, we can just give an rating to that one post

I agree, they're dumb. Some guys 5-star their own threads, if there's someone out there who doesn't like you, they'll put a 1-star on it to make you look bad. One star for the rating feature.
