Mac brothers and sisters..Mini??

Anybody using a Mac Mini? Do you like it? I thinking of getting rid of my old G4 /350 MGz and going to the Mini. What do ya think?

I've got one. Love it. We have it at home and use it for the usual home stuff like internet, Quicken, games, iTunes, etc. I think it's a brilliant idea. It's smaller than our cable modem and works great.

We bought the bottom of the line and didn't even upgrade the RAM and it works flawlessly.

It HAS to better than what I'm working on now. I have an opportunity to sell my old unit and perriferals for about the cost of the Mini so it has me thinking I xould upgrade at a minimal cost.

does the slower, smaller diameter hard drive seem to have any effect? that is my only concern. Of course going from 350 MHz to 1.24 GHz should pick up the slack don't ya think?

I went from an old 400MHz iMac to the Mac Mini and *every* aspect of the operation has been better. I think you'd see the same thing.

For what it is...it's great.

I like mine. It needs more real memory. Spend the extra $100 to get a 1GB chip. Its supposed to be easy to install yourself. I havent done mine yet but Im planning on it soon.
