Before heading out to the local computer store, I decided to give SMC tech support a call. They ended up spending over an hour with me trying to sort this out. With their hand-holding, I was able to sort out what was needed. They confirmed the router was good even though it wasn't spitting out automatic IP addresses. After I hung up, I was able to get the rest of the workstations connected. So far, so good.
Hal, Joe, Steve, HardDrive and Todd, thanks for your suggestions and support. It was a combination of everything that helped solve this. Regards, Sherwood |
Glad to hear that the Tech Support guys got you going! And at a lot cheaper price than a new router. :D

Excellent! Glad it worked. Network troubleshooting can be interesting.
